Mission Accomplished??

Isn't that what Dubya said a few years ago about the war in Iraq? Ah was I ever optimistic about victory over this cold virus within 24 hours. Oh yeah, I'm recovering, but not at the speed with which I had hoped.

My health is so awesomely good, I have no right to complain. So many people I know are struggling with serious, even life-threatening illnesses. I am such a wimp.

Meanwhile that moon, that MOON, even though clearly no longer full, is still kicking my ass emotionally and spiritually. It was hanging pretty high in the sky this morning when I went out with the dog, super bright white and In My Face. OK dear Luna, OK. I surrender to your omnipotence. Now can you cut me some slack, puh-lease???

Is the moon your nemesis?

That moon enabled me to bring to high tide some of my internal musings, and let them crash on the beach . . .

I had that nasty cold a few weeks back. It's a doosy. I like your shadow...looks like it'a a painting in The Cave of Swimmers.

Did you notice this morning and yesterday morning how the moon looks as if it's hosting yin and yang inside it? -- one side is white, the other black, each color swirling out from the center and curving around the other. Very interesting.

It is yin yangish.

Merle, my relationship with the moon is very turbulent, just as it should be.

The moon symbolizes and illustrates that all is change, ever waxing and waning. Every moon is different, too. Makes me so moody! Change is hard, at least for me. Sigh. Can't live with it, can't live without it.

I have to ask - Is that shadow on the bricks a kid on a skateboard wearing a baseball hat, or is it a greyhound? Or is it you on a skateboard wearing a baseball hat?

Nevermind, I'm hallucinating again. I went back and saw a few more things hiding in the reflections. It's still a really cool shadow!
