Grounded

When it rains, it pours. Oy vey. I'm just about recovered from the Cold from Hell, a good thing, yes? Then why oh why did I lose my balance and slip on the stairs? I've come up and down those stairs literally thousands of times in the past seven years, sometimes after too much wine. Never slipped before. Shook me up, but I was OK. An hour later, why did Tonka (the biggest household dog) rear up enthusiastically and come down hard on my right foot? Why?

OK, well, he was feeling enthusiastic about going out for a walk, and my foot was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The question "why" is more about me waving my fist at the sky. You know.

So I'm grounded again, at least for awhile. No long walks, not even any short walks until I figure out how seriously I'm hurt. In the meantime, ice packs, warm soaks in epsom salts, arnica gel, Reiki (from myself as from friends).

I'm batting minus a thousand this week in the realm of physical health. Wish me well? Thanks.

Freud and your mama thought there was no such thing as an accident--they were both wrong.

We get moving too quickly, someone startles us--things even in string theory do not sing harmoniously every nano second of every day/season/year.

We are preparing for 5769, we are examining the past and bringing up old material--it gives us little room for staying in the present, singing with the universe and any ability to avoid accidents.

No self-blame on top of hurts--just care for yourself and know that you are well loved.

Much love and healing warmth to you.

Thanks dear sister!

I'm not blaming myself - actually I'm pissed off at God. Poor God. I always blame Him.

It also occurs that I'm dancing in shamanic alignment with the financial debacle ... I'm going to stop doing that RIGHT NOW.

Hannah told me to put the brakes on my work with soul retrieval. I tried to talk her out of it, but then an hour later, Tonka crunched my foot. So now I'm listening to her. I'm going to take a break.

Take a "break"? Hope my foot isn't!

Next time I see Tonka at the graveyard I'll sic Amos on him!

Seriously, you know I love the Tonkster. But having been leveled by him once myself, I know how much a collision with him can hurt.

Get well soon, my friend, and let me know if there's anything I can do to help besides sending Reiki.

Wishing you well my dear. It seems like you really know how to welcome 'fall'. Things are due to turn around soon. XXOO

Oh no! You really ARE in alignment with our national turmoil! I hope you can break away from that really soon and I certainly hope there are no lasting ill-effects for your poor foot. :(

Ouch! That coming down on the foot thing is a favorite move of Cricket's.

Go to bed. Put your feet up and let go...feel better.

In bed, with a good book; maybe some wine, too?

Dear Reya,I can`t get over the feeling that there is more to it. Shaking your fist at God, huh? Why are so angry? What is it that you think you should have and are denied? Friendship it can`t be - you have many - even unknown - friends who love you. You alone know what you are lacking. So why don`t you ask for it? As specifically as you can? You have surely listened to the Abraham (Esther and Jerry Hicks)CDs and understood about the power of emotions and the Law of Attraction? AND the Allowing of things to happen in your life? After I had listened to these CDs I once tried it out - literally. I said to God/Source/the Universe: Here is what I want. Exactly this.
And the next day (the NEXT DAY) a lady called and said... - This is getting too long, I will write about it in my next blog. But you go and find out what it is YOU want! I`m sure this has been on your mind for a longer time...

Thanks so much to everyone!

Angela i'm Jewish. We tend to shake our fists at God - it's our way. He knows I love him dearly.

Not angry - what I am is scared. If I can't work, I do not make money and as I'm always so close to the line financially, illness becomes a survival issue.

I'm really discouraged, really scared, bored, in pain, still blowing my nose, but very grateful for all the good vibrations headed in my direction.

Dear Reya, I hope you understand that I am very fond of you (and God loves you back, you know that, too!). If it is a matter of insecurity and lack of money, why don`t you just make a book of your blog, including all the pictures? And add some stories of your life as a conjurer? You are so wise and good with words and emotions - you will surely find readers and THEN
you will even earn enough to travel to Africa (maybe on a reading tour?). Now, how does that sound?!

I know all too well how painful and inconvenient a broken foot can be and I hope that is not what has happened to your foot. Icing the sore spots can be quite helpful. I hope it feels better soon!
