Mithraic Reya

Brother Sun, who has been very quiet for the last couple of years, just woke up. I wish I could have seen the aurora borealis that was the result of the massive coronal ejection, but it has been cloudy in DC at night, so I missed it - if indeed you could even see it from here. Dang, man.

But I sense the awakened neighborhood star, or at least I tell myself that I can feel the renewed energy of Brother Sun. I feel the power, as a friend would say. Even in the midst of this ridiculously hot summer, I love the sun. I'm glad he's stirring around again, it's a relief.

The re-awakened sun stirs up in me a sense of excitement, anticipation. It feels as if something really big is just about to happen? Do you feel it? Or is it just me?

Lots of cool images in your car reflections. Darth Vader and his doppelganger?

I'm feeling a bit more energized. Maybe it's because I am working again, if only for a few days. The g'kid visits are over and though it was busy being with them, it was also lazy with nothing needing to be accomplished.

I love the sun too. I hope it is a good something. I've been running around too much to feel anything other than tired.

I think that what is happening is that we are going through a seasonal change, from early summer to late summer. I have literally been feeling a seasonal shift for the past couple weeks. It's still summer, but we've moved into a different phase of summer -- the one that sets the stage for fall (my favorite time).

I feel the shift in season as well, but that's closer to earth. The energy I feel is definitely up there somewhere ... ??

I've been feeling like something big was coming for the past few months now. I can tell you here in Phoenix, it has felt like the sun woke up quite some ago. Today is supposed to be brutal.
I can see what willow said about Darth Vader!

As long as it's really big in a GOOD way, I'm fine with that.

I feel a change coming. I don't know what it is yet, but it's something. Late summer is my favorite time of year. August and September and a little bit into October always find me feeling optimistic and ready for something new.

i guess they could see it in Minnesota--wherever that is.

yeah, i feel that 'something big's happening' energy too...wonder if it has something to do with the grand cardinal cross that's occurring august 6/7?

my big thing is my surgery on Tuesday and it becoming the focus of everything. What to tell everyone beforehand, what I need to have on hand for the pre-purge, how will everyone get everywhere when I can't drive afterward, unbelievable! I may not get to read for awhile, so Reya, be blessed, be well, peace, Chris

Not just you!

We tried to go see the aurora (in Ohio) at a park out in the country, but we ended up getting rained on instead. :P Oh well. I'll keep my ears open for the next big sun flare!

I got The Sun card in a Tarot reading last week, my first professional reading in years.
