Chop Wood, Carry Water

And walk the dogs, too. These aren't my dogs, but aren't they cute? Even cuter are dogs in the snow. The Drowsy Fabulist published lovely pics of her dogs in the snow today. Here on Capitol Hill, where this week's snow lasted only a half day, we have to be content with dogs on bare sidewalks, which is really OK.

Today I'm planning to clean my room, have lunch with a British friend who's in town this week, mat and frame photos, receive a massage and buy a blender. (I didn't mean to drop the blender this week, in a cooking frenzy, but that's what happened. Oh well.)

What a fine day I have planned. I'll accomplish some things, but have some fun, too. What's not to love about today?

Chop wood, carry water, have lunch and a massage ... and ... buy a blender! At least, that's my plan. Yes.

Hey Reya, what happened to the cute picture of that adorable little girl you had up this morning? Was that baby Reya?

I am planning to do some shopping today and use one of the gift certificates I got for Christmas. Fun money. A massage sound good too though.

I got as far as doing some shopping and taking some pics. Wish I could find someone close by who gives a good massage.

Hope you had plenty of fun.

Yes Gary, that IS baby Reya ... I even named the jpeg version "baby reya." Wow. It was only up for about 2 minutes. She's my new avatar. So cute wasn't I? Always dressed up, hair fixed, nice shoes. And I was making art even then, age 2 or 3.

I got everything done today except cleaning my room, a shame really. I love a clean room, but there wasn't time today.

Baby Reya! I instantly thought how it would be to have young Reya in my class. Another wonderful source of inspiration and delight. But, I am happy that the timing worked out this way so I get to know you as an adult. I wish you lived next door.
