Just like that

Today, the time changed, the temperature dropped and all the leaves changed color. Or so it seems.

At long last, it's here!

Welcome, Autumn!

I don't think the time change had much of an impact on the leaves or the temperature. They just happened to coincide on the same day. Yes, there will be no more sandals or flip-flops and a coat is generally required -- boo-hoo!

Another fabulous leaf picture!

great pics...sure am liking the sugar maples this year....seemed like it took forever for the leaves to really go through 'the change' but it's now clearly autumn!

i'm with you this whole clock changing thing is just crazy!

Great pics! Hah, we are both featuring orange leaves on our blogs without knowing about the other! And what a beautiful reflected tree!

Ain't Autumn grand?

It's my favorite tree. How can I have a favorite tree? But I do.

Pod you must skip naked through your autumn leaves. How sweet to receive a shipment of autumn in the post!

Vanilla I hope you do try some reflection pics. Chatoyance has posted one or two, as has Steve of Shadows and Light. Very fun to see the world reversed and distorted. At least I think so (obviously).

I am loving that top pic dear! It is right up there with the one you took of the swing which I have saved on my computer and am waiting for the right moment to use on my blog (with your permission and crediting you, natch!).

Can you believe we had a little snow today? The wind came up last night, blew down the last leaves, and now it's winter on Droop Mountain. Amazing!

wow incredible photos

as usual--what a treat to see so many with new eyes, though, I want to comment on ever single one of them.
