hurray for jakey! i'm looking after old man bernard this weekend. he's a little stinky and scratchy, and nowhere near as nimble as sir jakey! have fun love x
Watching Jake's sweet ears flip back and forth as he trots along is so healing. I always feel some tiny nick or scratch on my heart healing itself up whenever I watch his ears. After 12 years of constant ear surveillance, my heart is pretty darn whole and happy.
I love my dog. And yes, he's old, but still spry on most days. May we all be so vigorous in old age!
Jake is certainly on a mission of some kind. Very determined! My dogs never walk that far before pausing to sniff and lift a leg. Maybe I could send them to Jake for some lessons in how to power walk!
They really are healing, and if you could see them from the back when he's holding still, you would see that they look just like Chinese fortune cookies. They are SO CUTE!!

I think part of the reason he was galloping along is because he was being filmed. He hates having his pic taken as much as I do! Poor Jake.
