THANKS, Kerry

All is well and I'm off to work after a very energetic yet somehow peaceful meditation this morning. That new moon kicked my butt - which is fine, really. My butt needs kicking occasionally.

Here, from blogfellow Kerry, a poem that says it all. YES. Happy Saturday, y'all.

A Strange Feather

All
the craziness,
All the empty plots,
All the ghosts and fears,

All the grudges and sorrows have
Now
Passed.

I must have inhaled
A strange
Feather

That finally

Fell

Out.

--Hafiz

The watery distortion, via photoshop, is the only way I could make this collage look interesting. The canon is part of the Andrew Jackson sculpture in Lafayette Park in front of the White House.

inhaled a strange feather...I like that. I'll have to add it to my list of excuses. One of my favorites is 'gravity storm'.

Love that photo/watery photoshopped photo. I'm curious, did you move yet?

Isn't it strange how these things come and go?! I am so pleased that your day is back on balance! And surprised/delighted to see Hafiz's poem in your post this morning.

Yes, the new moon has been fiesty- A very irritating feather- I tried to leave comments yesterday and got booted - Nothing seemed to work-

I feel as though the new moon has thrown me out of sorts rather than straightening me out. Why is that? I feel as if I've forgotten to do something vitally important...

I like the watery picture in constrast with the boots and horse picture.

Strange feathers, I always want to have feathers in my pillows because it gives me something to pick at. Not sure why I do that but have done so since I can remember. I pull them out and throw them away. Maybe because they are strange feathers, but mostly because they are sticking out trying to escape. Is that strange or what?

God bless.

Busy crazy day today, so I wasn't much engaged in the blog realm. But to answer your question, Rosaria, I move on July 15. CAN'T WAIT!!

Snorting feathers pretty much says it all, yes? Like the watery effect. Congrats on your move in date.

I used to work right there - I would have my lunch in Lafayette Park in good weather. It was an exciting place to be on a regular basis - somegthing was always happening.
