Blog Inaction Day, Part II

Busy work day, followed by dinner with one of my beloveds. I've got things to write about, but no time to write them down here, such as: hope I didn't sound pessimistic yesterday. Also I'm wondering why in the world my psychic downloads of the past year all relate to soul retrieval, since as a shaman I am not the fighting type, and soul retrievals always involve battles in creepy underworld scenarios. I'm a lover, not a fighter, a healer, not a warrior. I like the middle world better than the upper and lower worlds. I can't even play the drum!!

So why all this information? Any theories?

I'm off. Happy friday, y'all!

Perhaps love and healing is what they need, not fighting and battles.

Have you read The Horse Boy? I strongly recommend the audiobook version (author reads it)... As a shaman, I think you'd find it amazing.

Hi Reya, I just read your last post and all the comments. I`m much like you, seeing it all and not becoming part of the BIG ACTION, but listening to the hopeful signs I hear. What else is this new blogworld if not a sign of hope? Has there ever been such an exchange of intelligent, thinking people before? With such good ideas which they can share on the internet now? I do believe that all these wasteful consuming people in the world can be taught, one way or the other. (I hope not the other). But I believe it is possible. Thanks to you, Reya, and Tessa and Maithri, and Lori and Val who all contribute...and by now thousands more. I love this idea of our sisterhood (including all the wise men). Cheers from Germany!

Comfy? I think you are hearing the drums? ??

No theories, although I would guess that since you're not a fighter, you wouldn't be at battle unless it was REALLY necessary.

And speaking of "really", I really like your photo!

I understand what you're saying when you say you're not a fighter, or a warrior. But I suspect that for the right reason, personal and close to the peace of your life, you would be a formidable fighter, within. No?

Every time I say "I'm this, not that," life proves me wrong almost immediately. (You'd think by now, I'd give up on the labeling thing.)

Walt Whitman was so right:

Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)

I just reread "Song of Myself" checking on that quote. WOW! I didn't remember the power!

Look at us, all busy making lists for other people to follow. I support your enaction back there; though, I think you were on overload a bit; too much work, not enough indulgences, still mourning...

Some of the recommendations I read had me scratch my head. We seem to shout in a hurricane when we ought to take shelter. Have a great weekend.

No theories at all, but your new header picture is so striking -- and seems full of portent.

I hope you thoroughly enjoy your dinner!

These soul retrievals are from past lives which are meant to reveal the challenges you dealt with prior to becoming a healer. I believe you need to know these past lives to find your life's purpose for your current existence here. It could be a reminder to you that being prepared is an excellent defence in case you come up against those that you did battle with before. All knowledge of one's past lives is beneficial.

Love is good and a blessing for everyone. I hope you win every battle for those souls, they need you.

Oh, breaks are great too.

God bless.
