Attention all Aquarians

Borrowing Rob Breszny's horoscope for this week.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): When the spell is broken, Aquarius, you will be able to tap into resources that you've been cut off from. When the spell is broken, you will finally notice three big, beautiful secrets that have been staring you in the face. When the spell is broken, you will slip down off a clean, lofty perch where it has been hard to relax and arrive at a low, funky spot where you'll be free to feel things you haven't felt in a long time. When the spell is broken, it will be because you have decided to break it.

Thanks, Rob. I broke the spell last weekend. Onwards & upwards. Yeah!

My horoscope reading from Rob Breszny is:

According to physicist Paul Steinhardt, "Good science creates two challenging puzzles for each puzzle it resolves." I propose that we expand that formula to make it apply to life in general: Good decision-making about anything at all creates two challenging puzzles for each puzzle it resolves. That should be your guiding meditation, Cancerian. You are currently at the height of your ability to wrestle long-standing dilemmas into more satisfying configurations. I expect that whenever you capitalize on this potential, you will conjure up fresh riddles that will energize you for weeks.

I'll have to see if that comes true but it reminds me of Winston Churchill's quote "a puzzle inside a riddle wrapped in an enigma"...

As a fellow Aquarius, let me say that this is spot on. In fact, my three big, beautiful truths have already been revealed. They are:

Big, beautiful truth #1: There are no aliens trying to control my mind.

Big, beautiful truth #2: There is no giant foot trying to squash me.

Big, beautiful truth #3: Even though I feel like I might ignite, I probably won't.

what are Reya's big beautiful truths?

Reya Mellicker said...

Big beautiful truth #1:
My profession is a transaction between me and my clients, and is not so much about the space in which the healing is being conducted.

Big beautiful truth #2:
There are health care professionals who really enjoy working in the same environment with me.

Big beautiful truth #3:
I might be aging really fast, but I'm not dead yet. I can still get up the energy to dance the maypole, and really feel that springtime jizz.

Excellent truths.

Hammer, you might ignite, because honey you are HOT. Please be careful wearing your new cologne whenever you're in the vicinity of lit candles.

Cube - ?? Did Rob really say that?

I actually feel privileged to have the Maypole still standing in my back yard since it appears to have been such a powerful catalyst! There was something almost electric about having our hands all gripping the pole at the same time before the dance. Did everyone else feel it?

I'm just glad I checked with you, the Maypole guru, before attempting to cut up the braided ribbon and give everyone a souvenir! BAD MAGIC is not something any of us needs as we recognize our big, beautiful truths!

First off, I must confess I stole my truths from an overlooked but eminently rentable comedy from a few years back in which they were referred to by a character as his "three happy premises." Fact is I have no idea what my three big, beautiful truths are at the moment, except that one of them might be that Safeway totally has Crispix cereal on sale right now.

Secondly, although one should always be wary of spontaneous combustion, it's not my heat, dear Reya - it's my humidity.

Reya Mellicker said...

Actually I experience your heat as nice and dry - like your wit. I've seen you sweat on a sultry summer day walking down a sad and deserted DC street in search of a beer, but who wouldn't sweat under those circumstance? You're not damp, dah-lin'.

Strange segue here, isn't it?

I'm a cusp baby, you know that, but one of them did say that, as you can see from Lynne.

imagine my surprise when a lengthier excerpt from dd was already here in your comment from fellow cancerian and goldpuppy reader jules (aka dumdad).
