Pythagorean Perfections

I read yesterday that the numerology of today is perfect, according (at least) to the people who know about these things. 10-10-10. Nice symmetry, yes indeed, but perfection? To be honest, I think the calendar (any calendar) is somewhat arbitrary.

Lots of people are getting married today. Babies will be born. Other folks are celebrating their birthdays (always on 10-10, but never before or ever again on 10-10-10).

Here in DC, it's supposed to be another spectacular day weather-wise, in fact you could say it's going to be perfect: clear deep blue skies, warm in the sun, cool in the shade, with nice clean, dry air.

I'm drinking a delicious cuppa coffee after which I'll take a shower and go to work. After work no doubt I'll take a walk, have dinner, and stream a film from netflix. Is that a perfect day? Not bad, not bad at all.

Wishing all of you a 10-10-10 kind of day. Shalom!

It is a beautiful day. As near to perfect as anything can be I guess. More working in the yard for me today getting the big pond situated which will probably be a temporary place so at least I don't have to dig a big pit, just get it level.

I didn't even realize the date until you mentioned it. Your day sounds like mine, lovely in its own way. The dates speed quickly by and soon 10-10 will be 10-11, such impermenence in balance!

like you, even though i know dates and time in the big picture are arbitrary....10.10.10 is FUN - i'm so swept up in the 10.10.10 mania i even scheduled my post today on the mouse to go out at 10:10

tomorrow, i'm going to have to call my friend the midwife and ask her to tell me if she caught any babies today!

Hmm. Did my comment just Post? or Evaporate when I pushed the wrong key?

Today I'm 64. A nice square number. And the weather here in New Jersey is perfectly beautiful. So I'm looking forward to a numerologically perfectly Pythagorean day.

Love and light and laughter to all

My nephew is one of those getting married today. I did not attend since it is taking place in Arizona but they seemed to think 10/10/10 was a nice date to get married. My other nephew got married on 6/7/08. It does help one remember but as far as being "special" or good luck I'm not so sure.

Whether special or good luck, as Kim has pointed out, it's FUN. That's good enough for me!

We had a baptism at church today which seemed special because of the date. We'll always remember the day that the Bishop practically drowned Vivien Rose (just kidding - although it was DEFINITELY more than a sprinkle).

Well, gee, I didn't even think about it being 10-10-10. That's pretty fun, although honestly, I avoid the metric system whenever I can, so I probably do not deserve to celebrate this.

It rained today where I live. But I love the rain, and it was a very nice day indeed. A 10.

There were a lot of weddings today and the weather was perfect. Unfortunately I saw two stink bugs crawl into my bass halfway through Pachelbel's Canon. I'm looking forward to 11-11-11 because those weddings will probably be inside.

It was a good day, but I'm not sure it was any more or less perfect than any other!

Cyndy - YUCK!! (Stink bugs in your bass ...)

Now I'm not reading this until 10-11-10 which is also kind of fun to type. My husband said he remembers as a child being SO excited for 7.7.77.

Hope it was a Perfect Ten day for you!

As in the previous comment, I also remember being very excited about 7/7/77 as a schoolkid!!
