Soul+Retrieval+Washington+DC

When I googled the string that's the title of this post, the second link was to my blog. I had to laugh. Looking outside of my own heart for information on this ancient practice lead me right back to myself. That is so funny!

If you've met me, you know that from the outside I appear to be an ordinary middle-aged woman. In 'real" life I do what everyone else does - go to work, walk the dog, cook dinner, hang out with friends, etc.

My inner life is very colorful. Oh yeah. I have past lives and spirit guides, animal guides, a psychedelic dream life. I talk to dead people, take trance journeys, feel waves of different energy passing through and around me. It's all completely harmless, and doesn't cost a nickel.

Sometimes my psychic life is relatively uneventful. Othertimes I'm very busy, like right now for instance. For the last fifteen minutes I've been trying to figure out how to post about what's going on in the inner sanctum of my psyche, but every draft explaining what I'm now learning (from the inside out) makes me sound like a nut case.

Hmmm. Maybe I am a nut case. Or maybe I'm a modern day shaman, dancing in alignment with the energies of the moment. Or both. Whatever, it's a fascinating time. Wish I could figure out how to write about it. Oh well.

You're far from a nut case. People love to criticize, but the truth is, you are doing a lot of positive questing.

Ched, YOU are fabulous! Thank you.

Ok. I'll tell you.

I'm learning how to do soul retrieval, not from books or classes or human teachers. I'm learning from the inside-out. This is how I first learned astrology, from a spirit guide who was a great teacher BTW.

Last night Barbara asked me if I planned to get a book or some other outside instruction. That's why I googled Soul+Retrieval+Washington+DC.

The fact that I was referred back to myself, given the specifics of this training, is very funny! I haven't ruled out the idea of "official" training, but for now, obviously, I'm on my own.

I have come to realize that just about anything is possible in the realm of healing. This is just another path. Who knows when any one of us might lose our soul? We will indeed know where to find help in getting it back.

OK...one thing I've got to say...

You do not appear to be an "ordinary middle aged woman" on the outside!

I've met you and I can see your colorful inner life all over you! Truly beautiful!

Keep us posted on your latest path of learning...sounds intriguing!

Thanks, Aileen. As blog kin, you know alot about how I tick. We know each other, not just you and I, but all our blog kin.

That said, you do have a great talent for seeing people - in 3-D! To most folks, I'm completely ordinary.

And most folks don't see me shaking my rattle at the maypole!
