Captcha

I am reading many blogs these days but not commenting on the ones that have the captcha "please prove you aren't a robot" filter. I can't read the letters or numbers, and when I try listening - I just get creeped out. Can't understand what the hell they're saying. But I'm stopping by, even though I can't comment.

YES. Big plus one to that, I don't even bother trying because I got so sick and tied of writing meaningful responses, only to realize I could not figure out the captcha.

It's tough and time consuming, but many Blog owners don't even realise they have Word Verification turned ON!! They must first log out, and then simply visit their own blog like a visitor, and then try to comment.

Thanks Rose from Oz - now I know how to get rid of it. I've never seen or experienced a listen response though Reya - now it's all sorted hopefully.

Gosh Reya, I totally agree. Sometimes I want to leave a message, but it takes too long to decipher the code.

I am always so tempted to totally abandon blogs with Captchas on them! I agree with Rose when she says that people don't realise they have word verification on.

Has anyone here tried a captcha bypass extension program? I have started using one called rumola for chrome and it works perfectly. Just enters the captchas for you as they appear!
