Where I live in Canada has long cruel winters so I make efforts to escape to sunnier and warmer worlds.
As I disembark the plane upon landing in St. Martin (early January) the sun god immediately heals my crippled spirit. By the time I reach my hotel, shower and move slowly to the bar by the water's edge I have been transformed. I have been healed... Hallelujah! The year before we moved we had a streak in CO of 30+days over 90. True, low humidity, but still very HOT. I think they too have gotten a break this year. One of the things I hated about CO was the high altitude sun thing. Even though in NJ 82 F might feel like 90 F CO, I choose NJ's weather. Colorado sun is just too strong for me anymore.

Like you, I've been loving this cool trend. Especially the nights. They say that from Boston to DC, this winter is going to be a cold and snowy one given our cool temps so far. We have just started having a few really warm days. Most don't have air conditioning this high, so we just close up in the morning and open back up around five. The evenings almost always cool down. The nice thing about the really warm days is that the surface temp of the water near the shoreline warms up a bit.
