Last year my "tree" was a wire frame I found in the garage- with lights on it it thought it was speshul....It was happy for once in it's homely wire life! "Tasteful" at christmas - um, I am all for tacky over the top BS myself- just like the contrivance of christmas is- a most bizarre holiday when you think about it. Pagans had it right- pretty much.
