Up Up and Away ... Almost



The big, dramatic weather front has moved past DC. They say the skies will be clear and the weather will be calm on Wednesday, the day I jet out of Washington and head west for San Francisco and Lake Tahoe.

It's all I can think about. I am so excited!!

    I'm excited for you too! It is sad to be sans Jake, but one of the benefits of not having pets is not having to worry about traveling and caring for them. I will hold for sunny skies for your flight.

    Have lots and lots of fun on your trip and just relax and do nothing, well except take a few pictures to share with all of us. I am praying that there is no heat waves still going on when you come here. If you bring some of your rain with you it would be greatly appreciated. But either way I know you will see some spectacular views. And SF is fantastic during the summer as you already know.
